Spanish Courses in Spain.
There are many reasons to learn Spanish.
In the early 1970's Spain was still a dictatorship with strict controls.
Now, barely 30 years later, it is a liberal democracy - where we can travel freely - a place where we can live and work.
Countries are becoming more open in their dealings with the rest of the world. Trade between countries is growing - fostered by the revolution in the various means of communication. The changes in the last few years have been astonishing, and those changes will not stop now. South American countries (where, for many, Spanish is the first language) are creating free trade areas with their neighbours. In the future, travel to these countries is likely to become more common place. Business oportunities will arise.
The world is changing, and we must learn to change with it. One way in which we, and perhaps more importantly our children, can prepare for the changes is to learn another language.
As the result of its historic past, the Spanish influence reaches far and wide. Spanish is the second-most used language on the international scene.
In many of the countries which we (or our children) might choose to spend a holiday, Spanish is the first language. How nice it would be if we were able to speak the language - talk to the local people, read the local papers, listen to the radio, watch (and understand!) the TV - feel part of the community, in other words.
Whilst creating this website, I have also been made aware of how many people are now buying second homes in Spain and the Spanish Islands - and a surprising number are setting up a permanent home there. For these people, learning Spanish is essential. One can foresee situations arising where a knowledge of the language will be invaluable. Situations might arise where one could feel isolated - everyone else speaking Spanish except oneself.
Apart from all those considerations, learning Spanish can simply be an interesting and enjoyable pastime.
On this page, I am teaming up with organisations which specialise in providing facilities for learning Spanish. The organisations have residential and online courses tailored to your requirements as well as providing free resources to get you started.
Take advantage of the facilities on offer - its easier than you might think !!
