Arguably the most successful book published by the Lanzarote Island Council in many years is
Tesoros de la Isla
(The Island's Treasures)
by Santiago Alemán.
Although only published last year the work is already in its third edition.
Drawings from Santiago Alemán's book have been used to illustrate articles in the
Lancelot Magazine
about bird watching and the history of the island.
